About Me

Hello! My name is Imogen Perteet. Most people call me Immy, and I always tell strangers "It's like Jimmy without the J". I'm an animation/illustration major studying visual development with a minor in creative writing.

I live in LA and I grew up touring all of the city’s exquisite museums. My mom is an art history teacher born in Indonesia, and she always emphasized the importance of being familiar with the world, and my dad is a special effects artist who taught me how to play dungeons and dragons! We have 4 cats named after different eras in Japanese Art History. 

I love learning about the past and making memories with all sorts of table top, board and video games in the present. I believe that love for life is a great guide for telling well-informed, real stories with animation!
